Grazie Ristorante Italian Restaurant- Vaughan, Ontario, Canada
We’re regulars to this great Italian restaurant. As picky eaters, we like to go to places that we know we’ll enjoy and not have an unpleasant experience. Needless to say, we do try other restaurants or else how will you know?

We go often so we had a coupon for a free appetizer so we ordered the Calamari. A very decent sized dish that we almost got full just on the appy alone! The green beans were crisp and the tartar sauce was tasty. The calamari is lightly battered and crispy, just perfect!

We ordered the Brunello pasta which is spaghetti with spicy sausage, broccoli, diced tomatoes and mushrooms. This is a favourite of ours as well as the Penza. Lastly, we got the Giovanni pizza which is made with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, spicy sausage, red onion and hot peppers. We love the zing you get from the spicy sausage and hot peppers.

As mentioned, we are there quite often, once we received their family cookbook, it has a ton of their recipes from over the decades that they’ve been in business. Servers there are always friendly and you get a feel that this is really a large family run business. They welcome you to their home to have a great meal.

Tip: When ordering a pasta, you can ask them to split it on two plates. We always do this so that we share the pasta and then afterwards we can go in and devour the pizza!
