Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Toronto Pearson Airport – International Departures

As we often fly out of Canada, we go to this lounge to eat, drink and relax before the flight. The lounge is not hard to find as once you go through security, you walk (movate) straight to the gates. Before you head down the escalators, you will see the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge to your right. It is conveniently located so it will generally take you just a few minutes from there to get to your gate, leaving you with as much time as possible to relax at the lounge.

The seating area is fairly large with brown lounge chairs with side tables in between them. There are also green chairs that suit more family style seating as you face each other more closely. There is also bar seating and what I can describe as cafeteria style seating closer to the food.

Ample space for seating with good spacing between people.
The green chairs seemed more suitable for families with bar seating further towards the back.
Kitchen or cafeteria? Either way, it works to eat or work on your laptop more easily.

The food offerings were OK, not mind blowing like Singapore Silverkris or Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge, but you’ll be fed.

This is the full extent of the food offerings, drinks on the left, food in the middle and near the far wall.

The drink selection was also decent, nothing extravagant, but you’ll get your thirst quenched. You have some hard liquors, coffee liquors, and although it looks like a lot of wine, they are the same brand, so one white and one red.

Alcohol is provided, though slightly limited in the variety, there’s probably something to try.

Beer is also on tap with the choice being mostly Canadian. Coors Light, Smithwicks, Canadian and rounding it out is Guinness, which by the way, is a must see factory if you are in Dublin, Ireland.

For those needing a caffeine fix, you’ll have an array of choices from the Lavazza fully automatic machine.

Soft drinks and juices are also offered in the fridges nearby and you can get your regulars such as Coke, Sprite, orange juice, etc.

The washrooms are large, clean but no shower amenities are provided. As you leave/enter the lounge, you’ll find a nice model of an Air Canada plane.

Overall, the lounge is large with good seating and decent food offerings. As we fly out from Toronto Pearson often, we will update you with new food offerings and any other changes to the lounge. Until then, safe travels!
