Avianca VIP Lounge – South Terminal Concourse J – Miami International Airport
After getting off the ship, we got in line and shared a taxi to the airport with another couple who happened to also be from Toronto. It was a pretty quick procedure off the ship and to the airport so we had time to kill. We checked our App and found the Avianca VIP Lounge quickly after passing security. It was on the second floor and once in, it was pretty spacious.
There was a large single room with seating and a separate meeting room that you could use with TV screens. There was even a kids room which was one of the first we’ve seen in a lounge.
The food wasn’t too bad, there were three hot plates of food, finger sandwiches, cheeses and meats and other snacks. The drinks consisted of a decent coffee machine and pretty much any cold drink you can think of.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience at this lounge for breakfast, we wouldn’t mind going back again in the future.
