Dublin, Ireland – A Proud Nation With A Deep History
We landed into Dublin after taking a red-eye flight from Toronto. We took a taxi to our hotel and then we hit the ground running. We explored a lot of the city right away and walked almost the entire downtown core in the first day.

We knew that Dublin was a green city but this was taking it to another level!

The architecture is absolutely amazing in Dublin, there are so many beautiful buildings with history written all over them.

We did a one-day hop-on, hop-off bus in which we got to visit Guinness. With the bus, we even got a couple of Euros off the ticket price. It was a pretty large place with huge doors inviting you into the area. We even had a chance to sit down and enjoy a sandwich with Guinness chips.

After Guinness, we hopped back on the bus and visited the historic jail, Kilmainham Gaol. Now it is a museum where you can tour to learn about the history of it all.

At the end of the bus tour, we ended up near another famous brewery, the Jameson Irish Whiskey.

After our bus tour finished, we found this restaurant to have a bite. Holy smokes, we still remember how good the clam chowder and fish & chips were. Our mouths still water just thinking of it. We ended the meal with their take on Tiramisu which tasted as good as it looks!

We really loved our time in Dublin and would recommend it to anyone to visit. We loved the vibe just walking around the downtown core, walking across the bridges on River Liffey and checking all the stores.
